Garden & Pets

South Africa is home to the world’s smallest succulent plants (less than 10 mm) and the largest (the baobab).

Bearing in mind the high costs of water, the ”green” of our front garden can be costing us a small fortune. Consider having little or no grass, as lawn requires a great deal of watering to keep it looking healthy. Instead, consider a larger garden with plants that are appropriate to the climate that you live in.

Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration" - Lou Erickson

Through the years families may have many pets, including dogs, cats, birds and fish. At SPICE4LIFE we urge everyone who wants to share their life with an animal to visit a shelter and rescue one. You will save a life and find a companion that will appreciate what you have done for them for as long as they live.

The difference between friends and pets is that friends we allow into our company, pets we allow into our solitude - Robert Brault
