Join in the primal thrill of connecting with yourself in a pyramid; communing with yourself whilst walking a labyrinth and rejoicing in life with a purifying sweat lodge.

If this interests you why not join us at the 3day retreat on the sustainable community called ‘5 Streams’. 27 km’s from Nottingham Road and nestled in the foothills of the Drakensberg. It is 2 hours from Durban and 4.5 – 5 hours from Johannesburg along very easy roads.

  • Participate in a talking Circle to create intention for group and individuals.

  • Card/Rune reading                             

  •  Sweat Lodge   

 

Entering this sacred space and participating in this very powerful clearing helps to remove your unwanted thoughts and reinforce your intention. 

 

Benjamin Steyl, will create the atmosphere by leading a meditation around the fire before entering the sweat lodge.  Benjamin is an old hand at meditation and has done many years of spiritual development.

 

Sid Organe will hold the space during the lodge and keep you all is a safe place.                               

 

  • Kundalini Yoga Sessionas taught by Yogi Bhajan

Dharam Dev (Rob Witham), a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor for the past 10 years will be leading you through this dynamic spiritual form of exercise.

  •  Nature Walk
    Sid Organe, our farm manager, extreme sportsman and nature lover will take you across our beautiful farm and treat you to a canopy stream walk and picnic.

Les Witham Dip Kin, a Specialised Kinesiologist and instructor with 15 years experience

  • Community Dinner and free flow dancing

Ever wanted to dance just for the joy of free movement?  Allow the music to send your body and mind into bliss.  Now is your chance just to be, free of judgement and embarrassment.

 

                       We have accommodation available on several levels:

1.    En suite bedroom (only one room available) with one double bed and one optional single bed. R2000 per person for the weekend. Minimum persons for this room are two. Should you wish to stay an extra night on Sunday the room is just R250.

2.    In dormitory style for R1500 per person for the weekend sharing a bathroom. Extra night (Sunday night) charge will be R100 per person.

3.    Camping under the trees. R1000 per person for the weekend. Extra night charge will be R50 per person.

 

 

                      Self-catering (excluding Picnic Lunch and Community Diner):

       Each person should cater for:

·         Friday lunch;

·         Friday supper with a simple snack platter to be shared with all;

·         Breakfast for Saturday and Sunday.

 

If you choose to stay longer all meals from Sunday lunch will be self-catering. Seasonal vegetables are available from the farm. What is available will be advised a couple of days before the Retreat.

 

What to wear

  • As this area can experience all four seasons in one day it is advisable to bring clothing that can be layered for warmth if necessary.

  • Casual comfortable clothing.

  • Walking shoes

  • Loose, light clothing for yoga and the sweat lodge (bathing costume if you wish)

 

A 50% non-refundable deposit will secure your place for this weekend.
