Laurel Daring

Laurel Daring is currently Assistant Vice President of Diverse Markets in US Business Marketing at MetLife. In her position, Laurel is responsible for developing and executing against MetLife’s Diverse Markets strategy which includes advertising, PR, sponsorships and other marketing programs focused on the Asian, African American and Hispanic markets. Laurel and her team also focus on marketing programs that focus on women and the LGBT community.

Laurel joined MetLife in 2004. Prior to joining MetLife, Laurel worked for JPMorgan Chase for over 14 years where she held a variety of leadership positions in the Retail Bank. Laurel has extensive experience in all areas of marketing including product management, advertising, website development, direct marketing, and promotions.

Laurel was born in Jamaica West Indies and came to the United States with her parents and siblings as a young child. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
