With Love From New York! Introducing Mary...

A day of LOVE.

We all know there are many different types of LOVE and I’m realizing my mission in life is to simply spread love around.

My name is Mary Pisarkiewicz, and by day, I am the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of a brand development and marketing communications agency based in NYC. I am also a Mom to two boys, (Lee, 26, and Zach, 23 ), a wife, a painter and a lover of fine food and cooking.

My blog, LOVE – the secret ingredient, stems from my love of food and cooking and in turn, people loving my cooking and dinner parties. The title comes from a note my son, Zach, wrote to me in a Christmas present of Amanda Hesser’s Essential New York Times Cookbook.

Dearest Mother,

You have provided us with the most fantastic food for my entire life. It has been a joy to be here to experience your always improving skills, and I know that one ingredient has been ever-present in those meals; love. It’s the love that makes the food truly delicious. Thank you for every fantastic bite. To many more of these!

Food cooked with love has the ability to soothe, comfort, and heal. It gives you something to look forward to and opens the way for great sharing and conversation. It is THE thing AND provides the conduit for many others. It can evoke fond memories or be dashing in your mouth. It is nourishment and love in so many ways.

If you are the bringer of this food, just think about how much you will be loved!

Love is the strongest magnetic force in the universe and love’s joy is the joy in giving. And best of all, when you send out real love, real love will return to you.
