Shirley Leung

Shirley Leung is the Director of Economic Development for the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.  In this position, she initiates and directs economic development programs funded by federal and state agencies in global business development and government markets.  She is an experienced trainer in business, market development and has taught for a wide range of economic development organizations.

Prior to joining MCC, Shirley Leung was the Director for Cornerstone Financial Corp. where she works to identify and evaluate investment opportunities and provide due diligence covering a wide range of industries. From 2002 to 2007, Ms. Leung was the Director of Queens, NY for the Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC), serving as the liaison for the New York State Economic Development Agency and business. Prior to joining ESDC, she was the Director for U.S. China Chamber of Commerce, New York where she built programs between U.S. and China in trade and investment exchange and developed the Chamber in New York City.

Ms. Leung is a graduate of Hunter College, CUNY and has an M.A. from Columbia University, NY.
