Summer Lovin'

I love Summer, it has to be one of my favourite seasons ever!  Blue skies; sunshine; ocean vibes; sea sand and of course the Summer Fun.

It is important to know that our Décor should never be restricted to only the Inside of a home, but must follow through to the Outside too.  When the weather is beautiful, I love to indulge outdoors, and this always includes sitting at fabulous tables; with funky seating; super food; wine ; great company and of course all the décor accessories that go with it too.

Accessorise your setting:

Add seat cushions to the chairs made out of outdoor fabric that is sun resistant.   My favourite outdoor fabric is definitely Les Toiles du Soleil (which means ‘the cloth of the sun”), this French fabric house has created an amazing range of outdoor fabric with an endless colour selection, which maintains a fun yet completely contemporary and chic look that will never date.

Add fresh white linen to your tables for that added freshness to summer topped with clear glass candle holders or vases filled with summer greens or flowers.

Lighting:

Always ensure you have good lighting for those evening entertainment sessions.  There are loads of lights that are available on the market that are aesthetic and practical.  When selecting your light fitting make sure that it is outdoor and is in keeping with the style and overall look of your home.
