Crab &potato salad; ravioli of Scottish salmon with shellfish bisque; sweet potato and leek terrine fresh tomato salad

Delectable mains include line fish with pommes fondant, remoulade sauce and watercress vinaigrette; springbok loin with truffle, spinach and black pepper; duck breast with grape fruit, broad beans and cardamom

Christmas Eve and Christmas Lunch: A traditional buffet feast will be presented with the signature Fairlawns flair by Executive Chef Keith Frisley and his professional team:

Christmas Eve  set menu at R380 per person includes:

Smoked salmon trout served on a potato blini

Poached Namibian  oysters with  tomato and fennel terrine or

Calamari and watermelon  salad  with soya dressing

Roast leg of lamb, honey glazed gammon, sage & chestnut stuffed turkey breast or

Pan-seared kingklip with mushroom, asparagus and Cinzano veloute or

Braised beef short rib with Yorkshire pudding, pommes Duchess and onion jus

Dessert  platter to include profiteroles filled with crème patisserie; individual passion fruit Pavlova’s served with crème Anglaise and ice cream. Tea and coffee served with mince pies, chocolate truffles and traditional Christmas pudding.

Christmas Day Terrace buffet at R450 per person will include:

The Ready for Summer Fairlawns Signature spa package includes:

A full body exfoliation and wrap using the Fairlawns Spa Body range and a bamboo scrub prior to honey and coffee mask body wrap, followed by a full body massage with cooling mint body butter, and a classic facial to rehydrate and refresh the skin to create a youthful feel and appearance. Total time: 3 hours and 30 minutes

The special rate of R1480 (less 20% on normal rate) is valid until 31 December 2011.

Book a spa treatment on a Friday or Saturdayand opt for a night’s stay, including breakfast for two, at the special summer weekend rate of R1,850 per couple per night.
