It is Fathers Day again people and I thought that instead of writing an article, I would do something different. So I wrote down the words of Bob Carlisle’s ‘Butterfly Kisses’. It epitomizes the ideal relationship between a father and his daughter. All of us might not have had it is nice as this, but I am sure one of the three verses will strike a cord.
For those of you that don’t know it, it is the song a father sings for his daughter at different stages in her life. I think that the best would be to listen to it, but the words are just as powerful. It reminds you of how you were as girls and all the different stages we went through as girls with our dads.
And for dads, it is sort of a trip down memory lane (for those who have grown up daughters), and for those that still have to get there, a taste of what will come.
So treat your dads this father’s day and remember the wonderful things they have done for you.
Enjoy
