The award-winning 5-star Palladian-styled hotel, reminiscent of old Europe, offers fireplaces in 20 of the 40 all-suite hotel as well as a large fire-place in the glass-enclosed Terrace Restaurant overlooking the winter gardens.
Fondue dinner choices, available from May until end August @ R160 per person and R320 platter for two plus a warming glass of gluhwein:
- Asian Surf ‘n Turf Platter: Includes mouth-watering choices from aged beef sirloin slivers to sashimi sliced Scottish salmon, enhanced by Asian scented broth with glass noodles and Vietnamese dipping sauce;
- Late Harvest Cheese Fondue Platter: from delectable mixed bread croutons to Hannepoot grape skewers to purple figs and fingerling potatoes;
- Vegetarian Fondue Platter: from fragrant Asian vegetable broth to Japanese king oyster mushrooms to sesame coated tofu!
Soup and Sherry Festival on offer until end August @ R185 per person, 3 soups per night with Sherry pairing and bread table – soup menus will be changing every week to ensure use of the freshest seasonal ingredients!
Soups include scrumptious Vodka infused tomato broth, pumpkin and Guinness soup, Stilton and celery veloute, mussel and saffron chowder as well as Namibian oyster and Champagne soup!
