As female entrepreneurs we can often neglect our children.

I am a mother of a five year old. That is a greater challenge than preparing 30 000 branded gifts under short lead-time. There are some predicable aspects to production. If you stick to certain fundamentals your can expect certain results.

Then there are children. Even with medical advances, babies still get to change the production schedule. We have an artwork spec from mother and father and still the end result can pop out with characteristics that were not quite anticipated. It all makes sense afterwards, when you declare, "Oh yes, my grandmother had red hair etc." The pantone reference of this child may not be an identical match to my grandmother’s hair, but hey, she has hair.
